Insulators
Post - Bushing - Customized

Electrical insulators are devices designed to ensure electrical isolation between a conductor and other conductive elements. They are used, in particular, both as support insulators, to mechanically support suspended conductors, such as cables or conductive bars, on a supporting structure — for example, a pole, lattice tower, or metal support — while simultaneously preventing current leakage to the structure.  As bushing insulators, to allow a conductor to pass through a wall, enclosure, or electrical equipment, ensuring electrical insulation between the conductive parts and the structure being penetrated.

They are manufactured using materials characterized by high dielectric strength, capable of withstanding significant potential differences without causing electrical breakdown. Their shape, dimensions, and characteristics vary depending on the application, voltage level, mechanical stresses, and operating conditions.

Thanks to its technical know-how and expertise in various insulation technologies, Isolex is one of the few companies in the market capable of designing and manufacturing electrical insulators regardless of the material used.

Isolex designs and manufactures insulators using a wide range of materials, including ceramic and porcelain, glass-mica, polyester, composite materials, and epoxy resin, in order to meet the specific requirements of each application.

Insulators can be classified according to several criteria: indoor or outdoor use, support or bushing function, and application range in low-, medium-, or high-voltage systems.
